Honorable Members of the U.S. Congress and the U.S. Senate: As a voting Polish-American constituent, I ask you to co-sponsor and support the “Secure Travel and Counterterrorism Partnership Program Act”, a bill that has been introduced in both chambers as H.R. 959 by Congressman Mike Quigley (IL) and as S. 497 by Senator Mark Kirk (IL) and Senator Barbara Mikulski (MD). Once enacted, this would open the way for my family’s relatives in Poland to travel to the United States visa-free, as do citizens of virtually all other Nations of the European Union of which Poland is a member. I think that the time has come to put this issue to rest and let Poland experience the same rights as other European Union members.
