Katyn Forest Massacre Memorial Committee Announces:

Memorial Services In Honor of Victims of Katyn Massacre

NEW JERSEY – On behalf of the Katyn Forest Massacre Memorial Committee, Inc. it is announced to all members and the general public that a Special Holy Mass will be celebrated on February 27, 2011 at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, 330 Sixth St., Jersey City, N.J. at 10:30 A.M. This Holy Mass will be celebrated in Honor of all Polish Army Veterans that were forcibly deported to Siberia by the Soviet NKVD-KGB during and after World War II. Poland lost thousands of its citizens as a result of these deportations. The main result was the KATYN MASSACRE of 1940 when over 22,000 of the Polish citizens (mainly officers of the Polish Army) were executed by the Soviet NKVD.

All Committee members are requested to be present at the Mass. Also we invite members of various Polish-American Organizations, especially Veterans of World War II to participate. Also official representatives of the Consulate General of The Republic of Poland in New York are INVITED to participate and attend the Mass.
