On November 6, 2012, we will have a defining election for the President of the United States of America.
Will we vote for the present course of the socializing of America chosen by President Obama or will we vote for the return to life based on freedom, liberty and personal responsibility?
As President of the Polish American Republican Caucus of New Jersey, I implore all of you to vote for the America that we came to and grew up in. That is the land of opportunity and fulfillment of personal dreams for all of us.
However, when we look at the record of the Obama administration towards our second homeland – Poland, we must recognize the fact that the promises that Candidate Obama made to the Polish community at large four years ago were never implemented by him.
On the contrary, we have witnessed hostile actions of the Obama administration towards its ally Poland. These actions were as follows:
• Cancelled the missile defense system in Poland and made statements to the Russian President suggesting the possibility of betraying Poland and Eastern Europe
• Referred to “Polish death camps”
• He did not reform the visa-waver program for Polish citizens
• Did not attend the funeral of the Polish President Kaczynski; instead he was in the US playing golf.
The Obama administration has declared a war on the American Catholic Church by imposing health insurance requirements and advancing social policies that are opposed by our Catholic teachings.
Everything that I have mentioned above should alarm even the most partisan Polish Americans who have supported and voted for President Obama in the last election.
We know now that Poland and Polish national security interests, one of the closest allies of the United States are not considered important by President Obama.
We also know now that preserving religious freedom is disposable for the Obama administration.
Therefore, we strongly urge Polish Americans to vote against President Obama on November 6th and support Governor Mitt Romney for the President of the United States of America.
